I came in to find no prep list in sight, but luckily Station Lead was there to catch me up. “You don’t have a lot to do today,” he said, “so you’re making family meal!”
I threw together a green curry stir-fry and tossed it with pasta. (There was no rice left in dry storage!) Everyone said it smelled great, and when I went out to the dining room to grab some, I overheard people saying that they could tell that that day’s family meal was “made with love.” Haha. I thought it was a great compliment!
Service was slow until about 9:30 when a bunch of last minute tables checked in. I stayed to help Hot-Apps with plating up dishes; we were all bummed about putting in extra time on a day that we should have switched to Late Night early.
